Bookings will only be accepted from people aged 18 or more.
The Committee reserve the right to refuse any booking or to cancel a booking
(upon 7 days notice) without giving a reason.
Invoices for the hiring fees will be issued monthly and should be paid promptly..
The person in whose name the booking was made will be responsible to make
good any loss or damage to the hall or its contents occasioned by that booking.
No smoking is permitted in any part of the hall.
The hall is restricted to a maximum of 100 persons and the hirer is responsible
for ensuring that this number is not exceeded.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the hall is left in
a clean and tidy condition after a function. Any breakages must be reported
to the bookings secretary. Any additional cleaning which shall, in the opinion
of the committee, be necessary will be charged to the hirer.
Particular care should be taken with the floor:
1.
No abrasive or chemical cleaning materials
are to be used,
2.
The use of sand is forbidden,
3.
Care should be taken to avoid spillage of liquids. Any
spillage must be immediately mopped up.
The hirer is responsible for ensuring that all windows and doors are locked
at the end of the period of hire.
All rubbish is to be removed from the site by the hirer.
Do not fix anything to the walls or doors without prior approval by the
Committee.
No alcohol may be sold on the premises at any function without a licence
first being obtained. The permission of the Committee must be obtained in
advance and the evidence of the licence application must be made available
to the Committee on request.
No person under the age of 18 years shall be permitted to consume alcohol
on the premises
Equipment may only be left in the hall overnight after prior consultation
with the Committee - the hirer will be responsible for insuring any such equipment.
The Management Committee by its authorised representatives reserve the right
to attend any function.
