Strong Ale
This strong ale is made in the same way as the Light Ale but the fermentation and conditioning will take longer.
Ingredients:
Method:
Boil the hops, malt and barley for 30 minutes.
Strain on to sugar and allow to cool to lukewarm and add a Lager Beer Yeast brew.
Cover and allow to ferment for about 4 days. Bottle without disturbing the sediment.
This beer can be drunk after 4 -6 weeks but improves with keeping.
