Harvington was originally known as HERVERTON and was first mentioned in the Anglo Saxon charters of 709 AD. It still retains its boundaries of that time; the Lench Hills to the north, two brooks and Shakespeare's Avon which is overlooked from the crest of a ridge on which the village was built. It is perfectly positioned being just 10 minutes from the bustling historic market town of Evesham, 25 minutes for the idyllic Stratford-Upon-Avon and 15 minutes from Broadway and the start of the Cotswold hills.

St. James Church

St James church is believed to be over 500 years old. It has the only copper spire in the Vale.
During recent renovation work the bells were re - hung and are now believed to be some of the clearest sounding in the Midlands.

You can see the bells being rung here.
